This Privacy Policy explains how Ex No Contact ("the app," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use the app.
1. Information the app may access
The app may access or process the following categories of data:
- On-device app settings and preferences, such as onboarding progress, subscription cache state, and app blocking selections
- Screen Time and Family Controls permissions that you explicitly grant on your device
- Purchase and subscription status information provided by Apple when you make or restore purchases
- Information you voluntarily send when contacting support by email
2. Information we do not ask you to create
The app does not require you to create a user account with us, and we do not ask you to submit a profile, password, or direct personal content to use the core features of the app.
3. How information is used
Information is used to:
- Enable app blocking and self-management features
- Remember settings and restore your in-app access state
- Verify subscription-related access through Apple systems
- Respond to support, legal, or account-related requests
4. Storage and retention
App settings and related usage state are primarily stored locally on your device. We do not currently maintain a user account database for the app. If you email us, we may keep that correspondence as needed to respond and maintain support records.
5. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may rely on Apple services that process data as part of iOS features, Screen Time permissions, and in-app purchases. Those services are governed by Apple's own terms and privacy practices.
6. Children's privacy
Ex No Contact is intended for individuals using the app on their own devices. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through our own services.
7. Your choices
You can:
- Revoke app permissions in iOS Settings
- Delete the app from your device
- Manage subscriptions through your Apple ID settings
- Contact us with privacy questions or requests
